Caiff y wybodaeth ei storio o fewn canllawiau “Retention Schedule" Sydd yn y the IRMS Toolkit for School.”  Caiff y wybodaeth ei dal am gyfnod o fewn y canllawiau a’i ddinistrio yn ddiogel.

 

Caiff y wybodaeth ei rhannu (yn ôl yr angen) gyda:

  • Llywodraeth Cymru
  • Awdurdod Lleol
  • Consortiwm
  • Ysgol Uwchradd ac unrhyw ysgol newydd pe byddai plentyn yn symud.
  • Asiantaethau diogelu plant
  • Iechyd
  • Heddlu

 

Mae gan bob rhiant yr hawl i roi cais yn ysgrifenedig i weld gwybodaeth bersonol ei blentyn/phlentyn. Mae gan bob rhient yr hawl i gwyno i’r ICO os teimla fod tor-cyfrinachedd yn y ffordd caiff y gwybodaeth ei storio neu ei rhannu.

Personal Information

 

Information that is collected, held and shared include:

  • Personal information (name, address, date of birth)
  • Special category (ethnicity, health, free school meal eligibility)
  • Attendance
  • Assessment (National Tests, teacher assessments, statutory assessments in Reception and Years 2 and 6)
  • Relevant health information
  • Special Educational Needs
  • Social Services involvement.

 

Why we need this information?

  • To support teaching and learning
  • Monitor and report on pupils progress
  • To safeguard pupils
  • To contact parents
  • To engage with Local Authority services

 

The data is held in line with the guidance set out in the Retention Schedule contained within the IRMS Toolkit for Schools.  Following the retention period expiry, information will be destroyed securely and permanently.

 

Information is shared with:

  • Welsh Government
  • Local Authority
  • Consortium
  • Schools that the pupils attend
  • Safeguarding Boards
  • Health
  • Police

 

Every parent or guardian has the right to apply in writing to see their child’s personal information.  If a parents or guardian feels that there is a breach of privacy of the information they have the right to complain to the ICO.
